The film was originally shot in 2001 and had a festival run in 2003 - and a small DVD release a few years later. In 2017 it was remastered in HD and re-released on streaming platforms including Amazon Prime and Vimeo On-Demand.

In addition to the film, the download purchase includes several BONUS FEATURES talking with the cast in Four Day Weekend about improvisation and their history, also a second version of the movie with a commentary track (with director Blake Calhoun and producer/lead actor Troy Grant) - and a great interview with the legendary character actor Burton Gilliam.

In that interview Burton discusses pretty much his entire film career starting with Peter Bogdanovich's "Paper Moon" to Mel Brook's "Blazing Saddles" to working with Chevy Chase in "Fletch" and Burt Reynolds on "Evening Shade" - and even how working in Hollywood compares to working in indie film.
